Description

Wrap yourself in warmth and luxury with our Felt Throw. This blanket is available in Natural, Emerald Green, Charcoal, and RAF Blue, with contrasting blanket stitch detailing for a rustic appearance that adds personality to your interior. This throw, measuring 130 x 150cm, is the perfect addition to your home decor and can be draped over your furniture as a visual accent piece, or used as a coverup on chilly evenings.

Our Stylist Says

I love the feel of the felt throw with blanket stitch detail-it adds texture and a cosy touch to any space. Its charcoal colour makes it versatile, working well in both contemporary and industrial interiors, as well as more minimal schemes. It’s perfect for layering on a sofa or bed to introduce some warmth without overwhelming the existing colour palette. For practical styling, try folding it neatly over the arm of a sofa for everyday use, or draping it casually for an inviting, lived-in look. The blanket stitch detail adds subtle craftsmanship, making it a simple yet stylish addition that enhances both comfort and visual appeal.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
