Description
Inspired by 1970s open-plan living and dining, the Feliz 10 seater solid oak table with metal legs is a real stand-out piece. Designed in-house and made in Croatia by skilled craftsmen, this statement table is created using large planks of European oak which creates a striking checkerboard effect at either end. The natural variations of the wood are beautifully displayed across the table top, with an oiled finish adding to its warm hue and highlighting the grain further. The table is given a cool industrial-style twist with steel frame legs, coated in a clear powder for protection and to showcase the raw metals inherent features. Complete the look with the matching Feliz bench, sideboard and rattan armchair.

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.
Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
