Description

Add a layer of sophistication with the Faux Fur Stripe Cut Throw in Grey, perfect for styling across beds or sofas to create a modern look. Its stripe-cut texture introduces depth and tactile interest, while the cool grey tone blends seamlessly with neutral or bold palettes. Generously sized, this throw offers both comfort and elegance for any setting.

Our Stylist Says

This faux fur throw is a fantastic way to add texture and cosy warmth to a variety of interiors. I love it for layering over a neutral bedspread or draping it over a sofa to create an inviting, tactile space. Its grey tones are highly versatile, working well in modern, Scandinavian-inspired, or even more glamorous, luxe settings. For styling tips, consider pairing it with contrasting textures like crisp white linen or sleek velvet cushions to enhance its plush feel. It’s perfect for seasonal updates, adding a touch of comfort and style effortlessly.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
