Description

Bring the peony’s beauty and good fortune into your home with this double faux stem, which looks as magnificent mixed with other greenery and florals as it does displayed by itself. The ever-popular frilly petals of the peony hold an intriguing healing history; not only is the flower’s namesake Paeon – a pupil of the Greek god of medicine, who was turned into the flower by Zeus to save him from his master’s wrath – but it is also one of the oldest remedies in traditional Chinese medicine. It has an apt name in Chinese, too: sho yu, which means ‘most beautiful’.

Our Stylist Says

I love the faux double peony stem for its realistic appearance and versatility in interior styling. It works particularly well in soft, romantic schemes or minimalist spaces where a touch of floral elegance is desired without the upkeep. This stem is ideal for creating centrepieces, floral arrangements in vases, or adding subtle botanical detail to shelves or mantels. When styling, consider pairing it with other neutral or greenery-focused elements for a fresh look, and keep the stems in natural light or well-lit spots to enhance their lifelike quality. Its durability makes it a practical choice for high-traffic areas or homes without the time to maintain fresh flowers, ensuring beauty stays intact over time.
