Description

A theme inspired by craftsmanship with character, the Fatouh rug fits perfectly with contemporary interiors. Made in Belgium. Product Details • 100% polypropylene • 2000g/m² • Fringed edging • Thickness: 3cm • Weaving type: mechanical • Underfloor heating compatible: Yes • Interior Use: Yes • For outdoor use: No. Quality Info • Polypropylene is a synthetic material with a rendering visually close to that of wool. Care information • Once unrolled, you must wait a few days for the carpet to return to its initial shape. • To keep the edges flat, roll your mat in the opposite direction. Leave it like this for an hour then put it back flat and place a heavy object on it for 2 days. • New, the carpet may give off an odour which dissipates over time. Remember to regularly ventilate your room to reduce it. • To preserve its appearance, rotate your rug regularly in one direction or the other to minimise localised wear in the same places (due to successive passages), and loss of colour due to regular light exposure. Care instructions • Vacuum regularly • Compatible with robot vacuum cleaners: No • To remove a stain, immediately dab the carpet with an absorbent tissue or damp cloth if necessary. For larger and deeper stains, you can call a professional service. Sizes • Width: 120cm x Length : 170cm • Width: 135cm x Length : 190cm • Width: 160cm x Length : 230cm • Width: 200cm x Length : 250cm • Width: 200cm x Length : 290cmDelivery:. Our Stylist Says

I love the Fatouh fringed Berber style rug for its versatile, relaxed aesthetic that instantly adds warmth and texture to any space. It works particularly well in contemporary, boho, or Scandinavian interiors, where its neutral tones and subtle pattern can balance more layered or colourful decor. Practical styling tips include pairing it with natural fibres like wicker or wood furniture, and keeping accessories minimal to let the rug be the focal point. Its texture also lends itself well to layered looks-try adding a few smaller patterned cushions or throws for extra cosy vibes. Overall, this piece is a smart choice for creating an inviting and effortlessly stylish room.

About La Redoute

Founded in 1837, La Redoute brings French-inspired style and elegance to your home. From trendy pieces to enduring essentials, La Redoute provides options to create a stylish and inviting space.

A Legacy of French Fashion

La Redoute has been around for 180 years. It started as a place that made wool products and grew into a popular online store for home and fashion items from France.

They've always tried to bring the unique French style to everyone and have changed with the times, especially in understanding the changing roles of women. For them, it's not just about selling products; it's about celebrating the art of everyday living and the quintessential French "je ne sais quoi".

Sustainability and Environmental Consciousness

La Redoute's commitment to the environment and sustainability is unwavering. They have taken commendable steps like joining the Better Cotton Initiative and ensuring their paper stock comes from sustainably-managed forests.

As a proud member of the Fur Free Retailer Program, they stand against the use of real fur and certain other materials, showcasing their concern for animal well-being.

Their transportation choices, too, echo their eco-conscious ethos. By using means like barges and trains, they actively reduce CO2 emissions, highlighting their drive to make choices beneficial for the planet.

Championing Social Responsibility

Beyond its fashion-forward vision, La Redoute actively champions societal values. Their signature on the UN's Global Compact underscores their commitment to sustainable development.

They take pride in being accessible to all, with their website catering to both the hearing and visually impaired. Moreover, La Redoute's dedication to social causes is evident in their support for equal opportunities, their stand against violence towards women through partnerships like Solfa, and their endeavours to empower employees, fostering a culture of responsible entrepreneurship.
