Description
Fat is a collection of padded seats which perfectly combines comfort and sophistication. Fat sums up the search for the essential, comfort and quality associated with the image of contemporary seating with assured lines. The designer, Tom Dixon succeeds in providing maximum comfort with a minimum amount of material, as such maintaining a clean look and a paired-back outline. The rounded backrest is made up of a large curved foam tube. Round and enveloping, the backrest becomes a graphical sign, affirming the identity of the collection. Fat has a fun and charismatic outline which irresistibly grabs your attention! The extreme simplicity of the well-rounded shapes and the round and solid legs cultivate an instant appeal. The thick foam padding of the seat and the backrest perfectly hug the body. The luxurious silky velvet upholstery embodies a sophisticated and cosy style. This seat with a welcoming personality will warm up all spaces, both private and public. The Fat chair is made from an injection-moulded foam, with a tubular structure made from glossy lacquered steel. Made in Europe, this chair is hand-upholstered by experienced craftspeople.
