Our Stylist Says
I love the Faro Lighting Fono light for its sleek, contemporary appeal and versatile grey finish, making it easy to incorporate into various interiors. It works particularly well in modern or minimalist kitchens and dining rooms where clean lines and subtle tones are key. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with muted colour palettes or contrasting its contemporary style with natural textures like wood or exposed brick. For practical tips, hang it at an appropriate height above a dining table or breakfast bar to provide ample illumination without overpowering the space. Its understated design makes it a reliable choice that adds a touch of understated sophistication to any ceiling, whether in a casual family kitchen or a more polished open-plan area.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
