Description

Incorporate a modern touch into your exterior lighting arrangements with the Fara Outdoor Up and Down Wall Light, with a practical PIR security sensor that activates the light when motion is detected – ideal for utilising your outdoor areas in the dark, or perhaps drawing attention to any unexpected activity. Finished in black, this stylish wall light brings a contemporary style to your space and features an up and down lighting feature ideal for illuminating your space with a wide pool of light.

Our Stylist Says

I love the sleek, modern look of this outdoor wall light, which brings a contemporary edge to any exterior space. Its black finish makes it versatile, working well with both minimalist and industrial styles, and the PIR sensor adds a practical touch by automatically illuminating walkways and entrances, enhancing safety. For styling tips, I’d suggest pairing it with neutral or dark-toned exterior walls to ensure it stands out, or use it to highlight architectural features like textured brickwork or timber cladding. It’s ideal for creating a functional, understated look-think clean lines and uncluttered surrounds-while maintaining a stylish, unfussy aesthetic.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
