Description
Tom Dixon is one of the most original British designers of his generation. He proves it once again with the Fan collection, which revisits the classic Windsor bar chair, which was extremely en vogue in the 18th Century. Tom Dixon enhances this British archetype by giving it new proportions and uses with stunning elegance. We love the spectacular and highly graphic effect of this sculptural piece, based on the repetition of wooden bars. The simple and graphic lines of the Fan stool demonstrate exceptional woodworking. The birch is carefully split into stems that are turned, tapered down and stem-bent. The assembly of poles produces a balanced and wonderfully graceful openwork structure. The seat of this armchair is upholstered in black leather.
