This stylish sideboard is crafted from solid oak and oak veneers. An aged smoky finish gives a subtle grey tone to the wood, inspired by fuming processes discovered in the 1800s, where tannins in the wood react with ammonia gas to change the colour. Finger jointing, a traditional technique used on only the finest cabinetry, features on the exposed corners, lending both strength and a sense of purpose to create long-lasting, legacy furniture that can be collected and handed down through generations.
