Description

Add a stylish look to your home décor with the Faina Triple Square Recessed Downlight. This spotlight comes in a rectangular design and is finished in a gorgeous brass colour for a mid century aesthetic. It also has a triple spotlight design, making for great task lighting, and is tiltable, allowing you to adjust the direction of light to suit your preference.

Our Stylist Says

I love this brass downlight for its sleek, modern aesthetic and versatile functionality. Its adjustable heads make it perfect for highlighting specific areas or features in a space, whether that’s artwork, architectural details, or cosy corners. The timeless brass finish adds a touch of sophistication and works well with a range of interiors, from contemporary minimalism to more classic, traditional themes. When styling, consider pairing it with other brass accents for a cohesive look, or use it to contrast with softer materials like textiles or matte finishes. Practical tip: install these in rooms where you want to create flexible lighting schemes - kitchens, living rooms, or even hallways - and let their adjustable nature help you personalise the lighting as your space evolves.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
