Description

Modern lighting styles for scandi homes with the Faina Double Square Recessed Downlight. This spotlight comes in a sleek matte black finish for an urban aesthetic and has a double spotlight design. It also has a rectangular shape and both spotlights are tiltable, allowing you to shine light in any direction of your choosing, making it ideal for task lighting with kitchen counter tops.

Our Stylist Says

I love this adjustable double square downlight for its sleek, modern look and versatile functionality. It works particularly well in contemporary interiors, whether in minimalist kitchens, cosy living rooms, or even stylish office spaces. The matte black finish adds a touch of sophistication while the adjustable feature allows you to direct light exactly where needed, which is perfect for creating focal points or highlighting artwork and architectural details. For styling, I recommend pairing it with other monochrome or metal accents to emphasise its modern vibe, and keep the surrounding decor simple to let the lighting do the talking. It’s a practical choice that combines clean design with flexibility, making it a great addition to both residential and commercial interiors.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
