Description

Bring a mid century aesthetic to your home with the Faina Double Square Recessed Downlight. This ceiling spotlight has a tiltable feature which allows you to adjust the direction of light, and comes in a contemporary rectangular shape. It also has a gorgeous brass finish and has a double spotlight design for great task lighting.

Our Stylist Says

I love how this Faina adjustable double squared downlight in brass adds a touch of understated elegance to a space. Its sleek, minimalist design works particularly well in contemporary interiors, but the brass finish also brings warmth and sophistication to more traditional or eclectic settings. The adjustable feature makes it practical for highlighting artwork or specific zones within a room, while the recessed style keeps the ceiling clean and uncluttered. For styling, I recommend pairing it with neutral or matte surfaces to let the brass details stand out, and ensuring the placement is strategic to create balanced lighting without overpowering the space. It’s a versatile choice for adding functional yet stylish illumination to kitchens, living areas, or even corridor lighting.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
