Description

Design. Create a cosy nook in your home with the Facet Lamp table. Modern angular strip legs compliment the rustic vibe of this piece and offer a sturdy structure for you to place your essential knick knacks on. A unique geometric surface design to the top of the table completes this tables ‘oldy worldy’ look which will fit perfectly into an urban inspired space. Pair with our Diamond Table Lamp for a continues geometric aesthetic.

Our Stylist Says

I love this side table for its warm, earthy tones and its versatility. The dark brown mango wood combined with the brass finish on the legs adds a touch of sophistication, making it an easy fit in both contemporary and more traditional interiors. It works especially well in living rooms or bedrooms where you want to add a bit of character without overpowering the space. Practical styling tips include keeping the top minimalist-perhaps with a small lamp or a favourite book-and using the lower shelf for storage or decorative accents like vases or trays. Its sturdy build and clean lines also mean it can serve as a practical accent piece that complements various colour schemes and furniture styles.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
