Description
Multi-award-winning painter Ed Burkes lives and works in Plymouth. Burkes holds the belief that music, language and art all have a mutual effect on one another. Text is as important a feature as the imagery itself in his vibrant artworks - which reference his surroundings both currently and historically - inviting speculation where chopped and sampled phrases or statements are spotted. ' Face As Mountains' by Ed Burkes Oil on canvas Frame not included Exclusive piece From the M.A.H Gallery collection Includes M.A.H branded certificate of authenticity
Our Stylist Says
I really like this piece because of its bold, playful use of colour and abstract forms-making it a standout feature in any space. It works particularly well in contemporary or eclectic interiors where a splash of visual interest is needed. For styling, consider pairing it with minimalist furnishings to let the artwork shine, or position it above a neutral sofa or console table to create a focal point. Practical tips include framing it simply to enhance its modern aesthetic, and integrating other colourful accessories to echo its hues for a cohesive look. It’s ideal for adding personality to living rooms, home offices, or even a creative space.

About Soho Home
From Humble Requests to Global Homes
Soho Home's journey began from a simple love for their unique designs. The brand's inception was sparked by guests' desires to take a piece of Soho Houses with them, cherishing their favourite items from these comforting spaces.
This led to the birth of Soho Home in 2016 with their Barwell crystal glassware. Fast forward, the brand has expanded beyond just a few staples, encompassing a wide array of interior items ranging from furniture and tableware to home fragrances and textiles.

Every location, with its distinct culture and history, serves as a muse for Soho Home's collections. This is evident in their specific pieces, like the elegant Manette bed found in Kettner's or the dazzling Juliana chandelier gracing the DUMBO House.
