Our Stylist Says
I’d pair this green fabric lounge chair and footstool - let’s call it the green lounger - with light oak furniture and neutral rugs to keep the look fresh yet inviting. The soft, slightly muted shade of green works well in Scandi-inspired or mid-century schemes, and its compact size means it won’t overwhelm a smaller living room or home office. For styling, add a chunky cream throw over one arm and a brass-finished side table for contrast. Position it near a window for reading light and introduce a potted plant or two to play up the chair’s natural tone. A small stack of coffee-table books on the footstool (with a tray on top) completes an easygoing, lived-in feel.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
