Originally known as the B4 Chair and designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the Haus Lange in 1931, the F42-E Hanging Outdoor Chaise Longue in white-hued wickerwork with a blue leather headrest is a true design icon that is crafted today by esteemed manufacturer Tecta and is exclusively available at The Conran Shop in the UK. Showcasing a tubular polished stainless steel frame and suspended from the ceiling using a secure fixture and a robust metal cable with spring suspension, the chair can be positioned in both sitting and lying positions to suit your space. Finished with white-hued Tecta wickerwork, that has been specially developped for outside use, and accented with a vibrant blue leather headrest, this chair would make a refined addition to any inside or outdoor space. Championing a 'less is more' approach to design, German-American architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of modernist architecture. The third and final director of the Bauhaus, he has gone down in history of one of the most important contributors to modern design. Please note: Whilst this chaise longue is suitable for outdoor use, we recommend bringing it inside or covering it between uses.
