Finn Juhl, the master of Danish Modern, originally designed the iconic walnut and white Eye Table in 1948.Originally designed to complement the Poet Sofa, the organically shaped Eye Table fits perfectly with the curve of the sofa to create a unique design unity between the two pieces. The elegant three-legged table features an expertly crafted walnut frame finished with a white high-gloss laminate table top. Fitting seamlessly into any space, the Eye Table would enhance any room as a side table for a lamp, a vase of flowers or a pile of books. The first Danish furniture designer to achieve international recognition, Finn Juhl is seen by many as the master of Danish Modern. A self-taught designer, he originally studied to become an architect but worked with the mindset of a sculptor when creating his designs. Rather than thinking in terms of practicality, Finn Juhl broke free from the constraints of conventional working methods to create truly innovative designs.
