The Thetford features bold lines and striking oak grain detail. This table is timeless and will last a generation
I’m a big fan of this Thetford extending oak table for its clean lines and sturdy build - the solid oak top feels more expensive than its price suggests, and the extension leaf is straightforward to use when you have extra guests. It works equally well in a relaxed Scandi kitchen-diner or a more rustic farmhouse setting, and you can soften the look with woven chairs or a muted runner down the middle. For styling, try anchoring the table on a neutral, low-pile rug to define your dining zone, then hang a trio of simple pendant lights above. Keep centrepieces minimal - a couple of ceramic vases with greenery or a set of pillar candles - and mix in upholstered or metal-framed chairs to give the space personality without competing with the oak’s warm tones.
