Description

Presenting an exclusive collaboration with Mallorcan artist Aina Melis of Bcn Tku studio, the Terracotta Shades: Study of Shape and Colour Print is only available at The Conran Shop. The exclusive print collection comprises six block prints on premium-quality paper, informed by an exploration of shape and colour. Each print is titled and signed, using archival quality materials to last for centuries to come. Driven by a love of simple shapes and primary colours, the collection displays Melis' balanced geometric composition, focusing on symmetry and influenced by the Bauhaus movement.

Our Stylist Says

I really love this piece for its bold use of terracotta shades and simple geometric shapes, which bring a modern yet earthy touch to any space. It works particularly well in neutral or minimalist interiors, adding warmth and colour without overwhelming. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with natural materials like wood or linen for a cohesive look, or use it as a statement piece on a gallery wall. Practical tips include placing it at eye level in a living room or dining area to draw immediate visual interest, or even as a focal point above a console or sideboard. Its colour palette offers flexibility-it complements burnt orange, olive green, and even darker shades for a sophisticated effect.
