Description

Exclusively at The Conran Shop as part of the 'Making Shapes' collection, the small Abstract Pot marks a special collaboration with the Manchester-based Pow Pots. Fashioned from concrete and air-dried, the lightweight and smooth pot is hand-painted with eco-friendly paints in the UK, also awarded a matt finish with frostproof and robust properties. Founder Nathalie Gibbins's Pow Pots are a contrast to the drudgery of traditional plant pots, beaming with colour and striking patterns inspired by mid-century, Australian and Scandinavian design. Pow Pots says: Please avoid planting directly into the pot and take your plant out during watering.

Our Stylist Says

I love this little pot for its playful, modern design that can add a pop of colour and interest to any space. It works particularly well in contemporary interiors or minimalist settings when you want a touch of visual intrigue without overwhelming the decor. Its abstract pattern makes it versatile-you can style it with a variety of plants like succulents or small ferns for a fresh, natural look. A practical tip is to use it as a statement piece on shelves, side tables, or desk corners, paired with other tonal or textured accessories to create a curated, cohesive look. Its size makes it ideal for smaller plants or even as a quirky standalone decorative object.
