It is our absolute honour to premiere a global exclusive with the exceptional PP225 Flag Halyard Lounge Chair in an olive lacquered finish, designed by Hans J. Wegner for PP Møbler. The Conran Shop's remarkable take on this inviting classic features a Salesco khaki lacquered frame, Agnello-hued bouclé alpaca wool cushion, and walnut bridle leather straps for a finish unlike any other. The design of the Flag Halyard was conceived by Wegner whilst on a beach holiday with his family. Digging into the sand to create a comfortable shape to recline in, the angled wing shape for the lounge chair was created. Paying tribute to the early modernists such as Le Corbusier, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Marcel Breuer, Wegner chose to construct the chair from solid stainless steel.
