This blue-patterned Floor Basket is part of The Conran Shop's exclusive woven collaboration in partnership with sister-run basket brand Artisanne. Handwoven by local artisans in Senegal from sustainable Ndiorokh grass with repurposed plastic binds, each basket blends traditional weaving techniques with modern design for a highly distinctive finish, and can take several days to complete. Artisanne was founded in 2014 by sisters Emma and Elizabeth, promoting Fair Trade baskets skillfully woven in Senegal. The pair consult directly with the weavers in the production of their exceptional and intricate collection, ensuring a regular, fair and secure working arrangement for their artisan partners.
