Description
Part of a new Conran Shop collection, the Itij Vase is designed in France and handcrafted in Algeria, from independent design studio IBKKI. In an exclusive collaboration with The Conran Shop, each vase is handcrafted, fired and glazed several times to obtain its unique colour and depth, with hues from both sides of the rainbow. Inspired by North Africa and based in Paris, IBKKI studio is run by two travel-loving friends who believe in the power of artistic and technical exchange. Azel and Youri design and curate ceramic objects in close collaboration with the artisans that produce the work, inspired by the historic traditions of the craft among the Berber community.
