This Grown Up Son Print is originally designed by Maria Mucha Ihnatowicz, available at The Conran Shop with Projekt 26.This vintage poster was created as a Polish film poster for the Russian movie 'Vzroslyy Syn', and is a limited edition re-print with permission from the artist's family. Inspired by the Polish School of Posters movement, Harriet and Sylvia of Projekt 26 have curated a collection of locally sourced, limited-edition, Conran Shop-exclusive posters. Combining Polish culture and Communist history with graphic design, the collection champions and prologues the legacy of Polish designers and artists from the era, bringing bold, wit, and naively illustrated artworks into the modern home.
I love this print because of its bold, playful design and vibrant colours, making it a real statement piece. It works beautifully in eclectic or contemporary interiors, adding a pop of colour and a touch of humour. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with minimalist furniture to let the artwork stand out, or incorporate other rainbow-hued accents to create a cohesive colour palette. Framing in a simple black or white frame can enhance its modern edge, while placing it above a neutral sofa or console table keeps the focus on the print and creates an approachable yet chic focal point.
