Description
The Conran-exclusive FK 87 Grasshopper Chaise Longue was designed by Fabricius & Kastholm in 1965, assembled today using the original factory and tools by Lange Production. Inspired by the ancient insect, the lounge chair presents a chrome-plated steel frame, which supports a softly cushioned aniline-leather body, offering full-body relaxation and neck support. Lange Production is the passion of Henrik Lange, who has collected design objects since the age of five. Stationed in Denmark, the manufacturer focuses particularly on designs from the 1960s, working closely with the estates of the original designers to ensure authenticity and quality. Fabricius & Kastholm met while studying under Finn Juhl at Copenhagen's School for Interior Design.
