Our Field rug design is an exclusive for The Conran Shop by ethical brand nanimarquina. Available in two sizes this hardwearing rug has been hand loomed using 100% Afghan wool. Crafted through traditional techniques the rug features a modern colour blocked striped design, with offset stripes of warm yellow and orange against the neutral colour of the yarns. Founded in 1987 by Nani Marquina, nanimarquina blends contemporary designs with traditional techniques to create unique and eye-catching handcrafted rugs. Committed to supporting the artisans who create its rugs, nanimarquina offers improved living standards, new opportunities and is fully confident that no child labour was involved in the process of creating its beautiful rugs. Conscious of its societal and environmental impact, nanimarquina places ethics at the forefront of its production process. Passionate about reusing, reducing and recycling, it aims to preserve natural resources through the use of biodegradable and recycled products. It uses an eco-friendly chemical-free washing method that enriches the environment with nitrogen and uses less water than traditional cleaning methods. All nanimarquina rugs incorporate the Care & Fair logo, an organisation that guarantees products are manufactured free of child labour. Care instructions: Can by dry cleaned.
