Eero Saarinen's iconic Conference Desk Chair for Knoll was unveiled in 1950 and is newly and exclusively available at The Conran Shop in an inviting green-hued leather finish. Presented on a practical swivel castor base for 360° movement, the archetypal chair design once revolutionised the notion of what executive seating could be. It offers uncomplicated comfort through its fluid and sculptural form with simple semi-circular shaping and a streamlined silhouette. Finnish-American architect and designer Eero Saarinen was one of the most prolific and diverse industrial designers of the 20th century, creating instantly recognisable pieces such as the Pedestal 'Tulip' Tables and the Womb Chair, which remain world-renowned to this day.
