Description
We are honoured to premiere our latest collaboration with Carl Hansen & Søn: Hans J. Wegner's quintessential CH24 'Wishbone' Chair in an exclusive tan-hued leather seat finish backed by a soaped oak frame. Trading its traditional handwoven seat for a leather upgrade, our private iteration of this mid-century classic presents five unique finishes clad in low-maintenance leather. The exquisitely grained semi-aniline ox hide resists most stains and sunlight-induced fading. Designed in 1949 and informed by a portrait of Danish merchants sitting in traditional Ming chairs, the Wishbone showcases the ergonomic sensibility that defines an antique Chinese chair. Its characteristic 'Y'-shaped detail gives the chair its name and provides outstanding support and stability, making it an ideal piece for both work and relaxation spaces.
