Description

The Collector Table by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby is an elegant design that allows you to display your most coveted possessions in subtle opulence. With a base crafted from solid, open-pore black lacquered ash, the Collector Table is characterised by its extra-light transparent glass case form. An exclusive edition, the case's base is finished with a bronze mirror, with a drawer on either side to curate and rearrange your personal exhibition. The Collector Table's base also curves up at the edges, to fit the shape of the attached top exactly. Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby founded their studio in 1996; since then, the award-winning pair have been designing architectural and functional pieces from their base in London. Their work is held in the permanent collections of museums around the world, including the V & A Museum and New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. Please note: This is an ex-display piece and therefore may show signs of wear proportional with use. The utmost effort is made to accurately showcase each intricacy and imperfection, and this piece is sold as seen.

Our Stylist Says

I love this glass-fronted coffee table because of its sleek, minimalist design that can seamlessly fit into both modern and industrial interiors. It works particularly well in spaces with neutral tones or contemporary aesthetics, adding a touch of sophistication without overwhelming the room. For styling tips, consider layering with a few carefully curated decorative objects like books, vases, or small plants on top, while keeping the display underneath uncluttered to accentuate its clean lines. This piece also pairs nicely with plush seating or statement rugs, making it a versatile centrepiece that lends a refined, yet practical touch to any living space.
