Vintage floral designs by E.A. Seguy. These three colourful designs are made in the UK and presented together in a simple black frame, glazed with a window mount, ready to hang on your wall. Eugene Séguy was a French entomologist and artist who specialised in Diptera. He held a chair of entomology at the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle in Paris from 1956 to 1960. He is also known for establishing the Diptera section at that museum. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings?
I really like this piece because of its vibrant, colour-rich presentation and its versatile size, making it a great statement in both modern and traditional interiors. The bold floral pattern lends itself well to living spaces that aim for a lively, contemporary feel, or even a playful touch in a more subdued setting. For styling, consider pairing it with neutral furnishings to let the artwork be the focal point, or mix with other colourful accessories for a curated, eclectic vibe. Its substantial size means it works best as a centrepiece over a sofa or console, and mounting it against a plain wall will really help it stand out. Overall, it’s a fantastic addition to any gallery wall or as a standalone feature in a well-lit corner.
