Description

The Etta coffee table has a gently rounded oak veneered top and tapered solid oak legs to give the design an elegant look. An original Habitat design, the Etta coffee table is perfectly suited to modern life and is great for storing remotes and books in the handy storage drawer below, leaving space on top to showcase a decorative bunch of blooms. A compact design, it’s perfect for small spaces. Part of the Etta range, you’ll also find complementary TV stands, dining tables, sideboards and chairs in the collection.

Our Stylist Says

The Etta Oak coffee table is a versatile piece that brings a touch of natural warmth to various interiors, from Scandi-inspired minimalism to cosy contemporary spaces. I love how its simple, clean lines and light oak finish make it adaptable; it works well in both wider open-plan living areas and more compact setups. Practical styling tips include layering with a stack of books or placing a statement decorative tray on top, while leaving enough space around the table keeps the room feeling airy. Its understated design is perfect for creating a relaxed, inviting atmosphere without overpowering other elements in the room.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
