Description

The Etta 2 door TV stand with shelf has a gently rounded oak veneered top and solid oak tapered legs to give the design an elegant look. An original Habitat design, the Etta TV stand is perfectly suited to modern life. Generous storage space is spread across 2 cupboards, an open shelf and a hidden central drawer provides a home for DVDs and accessories. Cable management at the back of the open shelf hides untidy wires from sight. Featuring tapered legs for a lightweight look, it’s finished with handleless doors which add to its streamlined shape. Part of the Etta range, you’ll also find complementary coffee tables, dining tables, sideboards and chairs in the collection

Our Stylist Says

The Etta Oak TV stand is a versatile piece that works particularly well in modern, Scandi, or minimalist interiors thanks to its clean lines and natural oak finish. I love how the two-door design offers concealed storage, keeping clutter out of sight, while the open shelf is perfect for keeping media devices or decorative accents easily accessible. When styling, consider pairing it with neutral-toned soft furnishings to emphasise its natural wood finish, or add textured accessories like woven baskets or ceramic vases for warmth. Practical tips include placing a few framed photos or books on top for a personalised touch, ensuring the overall look remains balanced and uncluttered.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
