Description

This super soft, super cute comforter in Etta Love's collaboration features Keith Haring's 'Brazil' print that your baby will want to keep in their hands and near their eyes. Babies not only love the stylish and clever pattern but will also fiddle with the adorable floppy ears with their soft strokable plush fabric, providing an additional sensory experience. Keith Haring's 'Brazil' print has been rescaled to support babies' visual and cognitive development from birth to around 4 months. The Lullaby Trust recommend a clear cot for baby's first year to reduce the risk of SIDS. They advise not to leave a baby under a year alone with any sleep aid or comforter.

Our Stylist Says

The Etta Loves x Keith Haring baby comforter is a playful yet practical piece that brings a vibrant designer touch to any nursery. I love how its lively, colourful pattern injects energy into a calm space without overwhelming it, making it ideal for modern interiors with clean lines or more eclectic schemes. It's best styled alongside neutral bedding or simple furniture to let the bold print stand out. Practical tip: pairing it with soft, organic textiles enhances its GOTS certification, ensuring a safe and sustainable choice for little ones. It’s a great way to add a pop of personality while maintaining a cosy, nurturing environment.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
