The Range
Etched Pattern Collection Vase With Muted Tonal Finish - Black
£53
Price History
Description
Refined in its restraint and distinctive in its surface treatment, this etched vase presents a compelling balance of clean form and delicate decorative detail. The gently curved or cylindrical body is dressed with an etched pattern geometric, botanical, or abstract in nature applied with a considered precision that adds visual depth without overwhelming the overall silhouette. The tonal, muted finish enhances the etched work, allowing light to play across the surface and reveal the design's intricacy from different angles. Its purpose is to function as both a practical vessel and a standalone decorative object of quiet artistic merit. The considered proportions make it suited to a side table, console, or mantelpiece, where it can be appreciated at close range and paired within a broader styled arrangement.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
