The toughened glass shelves are angled at the back allowing the Essentials to fit perfectly both in corners and flat to wall.

I’m a fan of this three-shelf black glass TV unit for its pared-back silhouette and easy-care finish. It sits equally well in a minimalist living room or an industrial loft - try placing it against a pale or exposed-brick wall to make the glazing pop. For a neat setup, feed cables through the central cut-outs, stash games or remotes in decorative boxes on the bottom shelf, then position your soundbar on the middle tier. On the top, keep styling simple with a slim LED light, a stack of books or a small plant to break up the black. It’s robust enough for most screens and versatile in rented or permanent homes.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
