Description
In the Essentials collection of lights from the designer, Koen Van Guijze, you can clearly see his penchant for Brutalism and minimalism, with an ounce of conceptualism. As its name indicates, the collection from the Antwerp designer essentially goes back to basics. The monolithic plans, the paired-down geometric outlines, the raw materials and the elements in all their simplicity evoke the industrial revolution with a quirky tone. The materials come to life and shape out-of-the-ordinary lamps. The Essentials pendant is a combination of brutalism and sophisticated details. This lamp with an uncluttered and industrial style consists of two golden metal sockets inserted into an oval concrete slab. The two bulbs are naked. The bulbs are not supplied with the lamp: you can use any decorative bulbs of your choice (E27 cap). Koen Van Guijze: "It is from poetry written with light that a real story is born. ".
