Description

Giving a nostalgic nod to seventies style, our Esben sideboard is the perfect addition to trendy, laid-back interiors. Handcrafted from mango wood with a subtle white patina finish and a distinct cane webbed front, this oversized sideboard is a stylish storage solution for interiors embracing this retro revival. H70 x W140 x D35cm. Made of mango wood, cane and MDF. White patina finish. Features four doors and two shelves. Magnetic closures on inside of doors. Clean with a soft dry cloth. To prevent watermarks and heat damage, never place items such as ceramics, tableware or glassware directly onto the surface of any of our wooden furniture without the protection of a heat resistant mat, coaster or trivet. Clean up any spillages immediately to avoid staining.

Our Stylist Says

The Esben four door sideboard is a versatile piece that works beautifully in both modern and traditional interiors. Its clean lines and neutral tones make it an adaptable addition, whether placed in a living room, dining area, or hallway. I love how the rattan detailing adds texture and a touch of Scandinavian-inspired charm, making it feel inviting without overwhelming the space. For styling, consider keeping the top surface uncluttered with a few well-chosen decorative items or tableware, while utilising the internal storage for organising household essentials. Its compact size and minimalist design make it a practical yet stylish choice for adding storage and character to a variety of interiors.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
