Upholstered furniture, images and the fabric visualiser are designed to act as a guide of how a piece will look. Pattern placement, exact colour and texture of a fabric can vary from this. Before ordering, we recommend ordering samples to view at home. While we endeavour to ensure that the stated dimensions are as accurate as possible, due to manufacturing tolerances, these may vary slightly. Please note, this Single Seater With No Arms is designed to work with the other Ercol Forli modular units, such as the Forli Snuggler Unit With A Single Arm You will also need a left hand and right hand facing armed unit to complete the sofa.
Our Stylist Says
I love this single seat for its versatile, clean-lined design and neutral fabric, which makes it easy to blend into a range of interiors-from contemporary to Scandinavian styles. It works particularly well in open plan living areas or as a standalone statement piece in a corner. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with layered cushions or throws in subtle patterns or textures for added interest. Its compact size and simple silhouette also make it ideal for smaller spaces or as an extra seat in multi-functional rooms. Practical tips include accessorising with a small side table or a cosy rug to create a welcoming, functional spot that’s both modern and understated.

About Downtown
Centuries of History and Growth
Downtown isn't just another store; they're a company with over two centuries of history! The journey began in the Lincolnshire town of Boston in 1804, when visionaries John Oldrid and Richard Hyde started their retail adventure by purchasing a modest retail unit.
The timeline of their growth is nothing short of impressive. From the launch of Downtown Boston in 1981, the grand opening of Downtown Grantham in 1989, to the launch of their transactional website in 2009, Downtown has evolved and adapted while preserving its essence.
Today, they proudly operate successful stores in Grantham and Boston, complemented by an expansive garden centre, continuing their tradition as a family-owned business that has thrived for over 200 years.
Unrivalled Selections and Expertise
When one thinks of Downtown, variety and quality come to mind. From exquisite furniture brands like Stressless, Parker Knoll, and Ercol to household names such as Smeg, KitchenAid, and Dyson, the store offers an expansive range catering to every need and desire.
Whether one is revamping their garden, refreshing their home interiors, or searching for the latest fashion brands like Barbour and Joules, Downtown is the ultimate destination.
Digital Presence and Personal Touch
Understanding the evolving needs of their customers, Downtown has established a strong online presence. Their website showcases over 20,000 products, offering the convenience of browsing from home and either opting for click-and-collect from their Grantham site or delivery across the UK.
The entire process, from warehousing to distribution, is managed from the Grantham site, ensuring seamless service. And it's not just about transactions; it's about building relationships.
With a team that takes pride in every order and goes the extra mile, the personal touch that Downtown offers is unparalleled. Their family ethos and dedication to customer satisfaction truly distinguish this independent business from the rest.
