It’s made from solid oak with oak veneers and has a lovely, natural wood grain that’s enhanced with a clear matt lacquer. The headboard has a distinctive curve, a continuation of the legs, and broad vertical slats that are jointed into the top rail – a stylish design element that adds to this piece’s well-crafted appearance. The footboard has beautifully rounded corners and exposed finger joints. As well as being beautiful, this bed frame is engineered for comfort with a sprung slatted base that’s so supportive – and suitable for any type of mattress (sold separately).
