Ercol’s signature curves are very much in evidence in the Ercol Ancona range. Practical and stylish, this collection of tables and stylish storage pieces fully embraces Ercol’s ethos – design for comfort, function and beauty. And, as with all Ercol furniture, the range celebrates the natural beauty of wood. Individual pieces are available in pale oak or with a contemporary dark or black stain. Smaller living or dining space? The collection’s breakfast table and side tables have been specially designed for compact rooms. Inspired by mid-century style, this cool curved sideboard has four storage cupboards each with a useful shelf. The pale oak finish is classic Ercol, and we love the slatted cupboard doors that wrap around either end. Why you'll love it. Ercol’s signature curves take centre stage in this stylish collection. Cool mid-century modern style. Curvaceous sideboard on tall legs makes a bold statement. Striking slatted cupboard doors. 4 roomy cupboards provide functional storage. Push-to-open cupboards doors. Classic pale oak finish. Part of the Ercol Ancona collection at Furniture Village. What you need to know. Made of solid oak and oak veneer. 4 cupboards each with one adjustable shelf. As oak is a natural material, you can expect to see knots, markings and colour variations. Warning!. Furniture can tip over unexpectedly and cause injury. This item should be fixed to a wall using the anti-tip kit provided with the furniture. Be sure to use the correct wall fixings suitable for the walls in your home.
I’m a big fan of the Ancona sideboard for its clean lines and gently rounded edges - the fluted oak doors add just the right amount of texture without feeling fussy. It sits comfortably in Scandinavian, mid-century or contemporary schemes and works equally well in a hallway, dining room or open-plan living area. Styling tips: group three or five decorative items on top (a low vase, a couple of stacked books and a small lamp), then hang a simple print or mirror just above to create a neat focal point. Inside, use the generous shelving to keep tableware or media kit tucked away; if you’re using it as a TV unit, you’ll appreciate the hidden cable port on the back.
