Description
Composed of wool, silk and cotton, the hand-tufted Équilibre rug brings softness and comfort to your cocoon. Sand inspiration and shades of light colours which transform your living room or bedroom into a relaxation room. Tufting is an ancestral method mainly developed in India and China. This artisanal manufacturing process is carried out by hand. The craftsman places the lengths of textile directly into a cotton frame on a stretched canvas, which is itself on a vertical loom. Tufting is then carried out using a thread gun following the colours, design and different heights of the fabric lengths. This technique provides greater thickness and comfort than traditional knotting.
