Description
The Equatore is an immaterial light. It offers the opposite of what you might expect from a traditional lamp, which has a light source located at the centre of the lampshade. The Equatore pendant has a lampshade that is paradoxically and suggestively empty! Its diffuser disc, which contains the LED light source, is placed beneath the lampshade. The invisible light disc is hidden by a metallic strip adorning the lampshade’s base. The diffuser disc is illuminated on both sides, so the light is directed both downwards and upwards where it shines within the lampshade. The superb blown glass bell fills up, as if by magic, with a luminous substance that appears to come from nowhere and illuminates without revealing the light source.
