Price History

Description

The Enzo walnut-stained sideboard is a real statement piece featuring a distinctive grain pattern and slatted front. With a mid-century feel, the Enzo is designed on retro-style pedestal feet and is crafted from walnut-stained ash and walnut veneers. The sideboard provides ample storage with 2 cupboard doors, each with a shelf inside, and 2 sliding drawers which have a hidden push-pull mechanism for soft closure and a clean finish. Designed in house and exclusive to Habitat, this sideboard cleverly doubles up as an AV unit with cable management at the back, making it easier to keep TV wires organised and hidden. This sideboard and its matching coffee table are also available in an oak finish.

Our Stylist Says

I love this Enzo Walnut sideboard for its sleek, natural finish and versatile design. It works particularly well in contemporary or Scandi-inspired interiors, where its warmth can soften minimalist spaces, but it also lends itself to more traditional settings thanks to its rich wood tone. Practical styling tips include layering with monochrome accessories or metallic accents to add interest, and pairing it with a tidy display of books or decorative objects on top. Its ample storage makes it ideal for living rooms or dining areas, offering both function and style without overwhelming the space.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
