Description
Engraved in our studio in the heart of rural Derbyshire, this solid pine sign is engraved and finished to a very high quality and features the words "Once Upon A Time". Please note: Due to the natural variations in the grain, colour tone and texture of the wood we use, we cannot guarantee that the colour or grain of your product will be exactly like the images shown.
Our Stylist Says
I love this wooden sign because of its clean, charming aesthetic and versatile appeal. It works particularly well in cosy, rustic, or Scandinavian-inspired interiors where natural materials are key. For styling, consider placing it on a mantlepiece, shelf, or as a centrepiece on a console table. Pair it with soft textiles, greenery, or floral arrangements for a welcoming touch. To keep it looking its best, place it in areas away from direct sunlight to prevent colour fading, and combine it with other wooden or neutral-toned decor for a cohesive, laid-back look. This piece can easily add a personalised and inviting feel to both entrance halls and living rooms.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
