The Marble Hill 3 Light Pendant is an exercise in Georgian proportions inspired by Marble Hill, a historic Georgian villa in Twickenham, London. Stunning hung over a dining table or the centrepiece of a lounge or bedroom, this elegant 3-light pendant is versatile and can be used in most rooms in the house. Sold without a shade, but it perfectly complements English Heritage's St John Street pleated shades. Made in a choice of finishes. The authentically aged brass finish is a multi-stage process involving brass plating, chemical oxidising and hand rubbing before finally finishing with a protective lacquer. The polished nickel finish gives the wall light an authentic, warm look. The Marble Hill 3 Light pendant comes with one metre of chain and cable, allowing the height to be adjusted on installation. The Marble Hill range consists of a 3 and 5 light pendant, wall light and table lamp, all in two authentic historic finishes. Part of the English Heritage lighting collection, inspired by Great British houses and gardens.

I’ve used the Marble Hill 3-light pendant in both traditional and modern schemes - its antique brass finish and clean, candle-style arms feel at home in a period hallway or a pared-back kitchen. It’s compact enough for smaller spaces but still makes a statement. For a practical fit, hang it so the lowest point is around 2.2 m from the floor in circulation areas, or about 30 cm above a dining table. Pair with slim LED candle bulbs to keep sight-lines clear, and echo the brass tone with mirror frames or cabinet handles nearby for a pulled-together look.
