Description

Four-seater Arc En Ciel dining table and chairs set from EMU, foldable for easy storage. Made in Italy, the sturdy steel frames are treated with the brand's EMU-coat, an anti-corrosion process, ensuring the furniture is weather-resistant and can be used outdoors all year round. Key features: Foldable rectangular table and four matching foldable chairs Frames are cleaned to remove any impurities that may impair paint adhesion Zinc coated to seal frames, prevent oxidization and protect against rust Iron phosphate undercoat increases paint adhesion and forms a highly anti-corrosive layer Electroplated primer-coated frames are electrochemically coated with a uniform paint film to further improve bonding and weather resistance. Same process as used in the automotive industry EMU-coat polyester baked colour finish on the frames, spray-painted with polyester powder coating which is then baked at high temperature resulting in a highly weather-resistant protective finish Good to know: To keep the set in good condition for years to come, we recommend storing it indoors and in a dry place during the winter. Before the winter and on a quarterly basis, if your home is near the sea, it's best to clean the metal surfaces with a soft cloth using water or detergent and protect them from the salty sea air with Vaseline oil or car wax. Do not use ethyl alcohol or detergents which contain, even in small amounts, acetone, trichloroethylene or ammonia, or solvents in general.

Our Stylist Says

I love this garden set because of its sleek steel finish and compact, practical design that’s perfect for al fresco dining and small outdoor spaces. The foldable feature makes it easy to store when not in use, while the rectangular shape offers a modern aesthetic that can complement both contemporary and vintage-inspired gardens. It works well in minimalist or industrial-style settings, but also pairs nicely with colourful cushions and tableware to add some personality. For styling tips, consider adding a textured table runner and some potted greenery around the table to create an inviting, lived-in feel. It’s a versatile piece that balances functionality with understated style, making outdoor dining effortless.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
