Description

The Emma Hybrid mattress combines high-quality foams with mini pocket springs to deliver full body support for all sleeper types. Made in the UK and supplied rolled, in a space-saving box, its layers are designed with innovative cooling properties that provide enhanced airflow while you sleep, helping to keep your sleep environment fresher and healthier for longer. High-quality British foams The individual foam layers help to keep your spine aligned and adapt to your body, distributing your weight evenly during the night. Emma’s patented Airgocell® foam is open-pored to enhance ventilation. This breathable layer absorbs heat and transports moisture away from the mattress. The visco-elastic memory foam layer adapts to any sleeping position and provides cushioned, contoured support as you move around. There’s also a zoned, cold-foam layer, made with cut-out technology and designed to provide support where you need it most. Supportive pocket springs While the foam layers gently compress, the layer of pocket springs provides precise pressure relief. They enhance air circulation through your mattress, so you wake up feeling cool and comfortable. Cooling top cover Equipped with temperature-regulating fibres, the breathable, elastic top cover can be removed and machine washed for an effective clean. The bottom cover is also temperature regulating and designed with a 3D mesh fabric to enhance air flow. 200 night trial We offer a 200 night trial with this Emma mattress. * If you decide it’s not quite right, Emma will send out a foam comfort layer that will help to adjust the comfort level of the mattress. Upon receipt of the comfort layer, an additional 14 days will be added to your 200 night trial. If you’re still not happy with your mattress, you can then arrange to send it back for free. *Purchases made after December 26th 2019 (inclusive) are valid for a 200 night trial. The trial expires at 12am, 200 days from the date your mattress was delivered. Try before you buy This is an important purchase and it’s worthwhile to try your choice of mattress in store to make sure it's right for you. Our store Partners will be able to tell you more about its benefits, and recommend options based on your needs.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
