Our Stylist Says
I love the Elstead Lighting Stirling Wall Light because of its warm, vintage-inspired aesthetic and timeless bronze finish. It works particularly well in traditional or rustic interiors, adding character and a cosy glow to hallways, living rooms, or even outdoor spaces like porches. Practical styling tips include pairing it with complementary bronze or antique metals, and using warm LED bulbs to enhance its inviting look. It’s versatile enough to fit into classic styles but can also add a touch of charm to eclectic and transitional interiors. Just be mindful of placement to highlight its details-placed at eye level or slightly above can really show off those intricate design elements.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
