Description

We clad this ottoman in our much-loved Elsdon Rug design; it possesses all the attributes of a treasured heirloom piece, thanks to its deliberately worn appearance and faded charm. The frame is made from mango wood and the upholstery is a handwoven and hand screen-printed cotton dhurrie, which gives it an artisanal touch with individual characteristics from piece to piece. Brass studs decorate the seams, and a brass handle makes it easy to open. Ottomans make for great multifunctional additions to bedrooms and sitting rooms – useful as seats, storage and surfaces.

Our Stylist Says

I love this ottoman for its versatile charm and the subtle vintage appeal of the washed rose fabric. It works particularly well in both contemporary and traditional interiors, adding a touch of softness and colour without overpowering the space. Practical styling tips include using it as a footrest in a lounge, a low coffee table with a tray on top, or even as additional seating in a bedroom or hallway. Its neutral yet warm tones make it easy to pair with various colour palettes, from neutral linen shades to richer jewel tones. To keep it looking its best, consider placing it away from direct sunlight to prevent fading, and use a fabric protector if possible to guard against spills.
